Brief
Bidweg.com was founded by serial Entrepreneur – Shon Alam. Having been hugely successful in launching other businesses, Shon recognised a huge gap in the market for a peer to peer currency exchange platform, which cuts out the necessity to only be able to exchange physical currency with banks or high street exchange bureaus. These traditionally adjust the amount the public receive to cover costs, or make a profit.
With financial backing and business support from experienced individuals, Bidweg.com became a reality
Bidweg.com came to Envious Digital to design and develop the online platform to facilitate true currency exchange, whilst providing the Bidweg.com team with reporting and administration tools to manage the business and transactions

Deliverables
The project is planned into three phases to achieve traction, gain exposure and attract users nationwide, prior to launching the full version of the product. The full system will include realtime peer-to-peer trading and communication, pre-paid travel currency cards and a native mobile app
Our initial phase was to deliver the trading platform, which provides users and Bidweg with dashboards to record transactions, and allows Bidweg to monitor funds coming in and going out. The system was also launched with three main currencies, with the additional ability to add unlimited currencies worldwide
The technical functionality also listens to mid-market currency rates, and automatically suggests a better deal to both the buyer, and the seller of currency

After rigorous user testing and market research activity, the system was successfully launched to the market
The concept has attracted much attention from the media, with Shon being invited to interview on multiple channels
New customers have been using the system successfully, and the plans for phases 2 and 3 are already in action!
